Character Page Rules

In order to be added to the website, please send a short biography and a picture of you character to:   Herberkids3(at) yahoo.com. In the past, stories were also welcome, however, we now ask that all stories are posted at the eFiction archive. If you have one archived there, simply attach a link when you submit your information, and we will link it in.

Make certain the picture or pictures is at least 300 by 300 in size, and not cartoonish or anime. Please note that when I put pics in, I manipulate them to make them blend easier with the page. If there is more than 1 pic, I will merge them together. This is nothing against the pics you have chosen, it's just the style I have.

Some simple things to keep in mind when sending me a picture:

  1. Make certain it is a clean, clear copy of the picture you want. The larger the copy, the better. If I have to make it bigger, it will get distorted, the edges will blur, and it won't look as good.

  2. I will not use the same picture or person for 2 or more characters (unless they are playing twins!). First come, first serve. I will use the picture for the first person, unless that person asks that it be removed.

  3. Please try to make certain that the pictures you send in at least look similar, physically, to one another. That is to say, same hair color, and similar features and build. Some things can be added, such as wings, and some things can be changed a bit, such as hair or eye color. Nothing drastic. One thing I can not easily change is making dark hair lighter. If you want a blonde, look for a blonde, because a brunette won't be easily changed to one, nor will it look real. If you need someone with a colored hair, such as pink, or blue, or green, etc, look for a blonde as well, because it takes easier, and shows up nicer.

  4. I will not post obscene, or pornographic material. I will post tastefully done fantasy art that might show some nudity. As many know, most of the well known fantasy artists show quite a bit of nudity. If I feel it is too much, I will cover it a bit.

  5. Pictures MUST be at least 300x300 in size. The larger, the better. See the image below for this size.

  6. I reserve the right to post or not post any picture as I deem fit.

  7. If you need or want a picture altered in some way, please be aware that it will take longer to post.

  8. If you want a desktop made from a picture, send in a request- character related or otherwise. Those will not be posted to the website, but will be emailed to you directly.
